Other forms of transportation in Belize is by Bus, Taxi, Water Taxi, Auto Rentals and Golf Cart Rentals (on some of the Islands and in Placencia)
On many of the islands bicycles can also be rented. Moped seem to be energing and in som places can be rented, such as San Sedro.

Visitors to Belize are permitted to stay in Belize for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days. The following category of persons may be granted by the Immigration Department extensions of up to three (3) months at a time. These three months would be after the thirty day period given by the Immigration Officer at the port of entry.

Airport Departure Tax Currently there is an airport departure tax of $15USD required plus a $1.25USD security tax plus a Protected Areas Conservation Trust (PACT) fee of $3.75 USD, which is used to promote, enhance and conserve Belize's protected areas.
