| Description: | El Fuerte is a beautiful Spanish style home with a private courtyard located 1 mile from the town of San Pedro, Belize. The island trip from the mainland is a short 20 minute flight (www.mayaislandair.com) from Belize International Airport. The flight over will surely take your breath away as you look down on the emerald green Caribbean Sea. The island has a population of 4500 & offers English as their primary language, which makes it very tourist friendly. The main mode of transportation is golf carts bicycles. You can also take the beach all the way into to town for evening dinner. Our home is fully equipped with all the amenities of your home, portable CD player, TV, VCR & cable. We have two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each. The second bedroom has a twin trundle. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned & there are ceiling fans throughout. In the den we have a queen fold out sofa-which may sleep 2. The house can comfortably sleep 7. The den also has a TV, VCR & cable. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, stove, refrigerator, full set of cooking pots, blender, dishes & a must, a coffee pot. The dining area offers a nice table with chairs to enjoy those meals that you may want to cook. The outdoor veranda is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee with a spectacular view of the garden. Also, for those much needed 'cook-outs' there is an outdoor BBQ grill.
