| Description: | 1. Do I really need a cart in San Pedro Town? The renting of the golf cart serves as part of the entire vacation allowing accessibility to just about every destination in San Pedro. Besides the advantages of moving around more freely and to your own convenience, renting a golf cart is the best way to beat the Heat of the Sun. 2. How long does it take to tour the Island? It takes roughly 3 hours without stopping because the roads sometimes are not smooth and for a more enjoyable ride, the slower pace would surely be called for. In order to get to the Northern end of the Island, you have to cross a hand ferry $5. US. However, the carts are not allowed beyond 4.5 miles up north from the ferry. The roads are not made for golf carts past the Palapa Bar during rainy season, the roads may become impassable and will destroy the carts. 3. How do we change golf carts on long term rentals? All golf carts are electric Club Cars. They usually run 4 - 6 hours depending on how it is being used. The customer can call us to go change it out at their hotel or visit us at monchos rentals to change their cart for a fully charged cart. Office hours are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm unlike any other cart rental in the island. We are also located 3 miles north of the hand ferry at Caye Mart. Opening hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. 4. What services does Moncho's Rentals provide? We deliver to your hotel and pick up as well. If there is a flat tire or the cart stops, just call us and we are there as soon as possible to rectify the problem or give another cart. As far as arrivals, we arrange that through the agents that we deal with or through the hotels. We are conveniently located at the airstrip and across the river, north of the island for your convenience. 5. Do we need to make advance reservations? We advise all of our customers during high season to prepay or make reservations. Our prepaid policy is to send a visa/mastercard payment. The Reservation Policy is as follows; 1. All Reservations starting from a 24-hour rental will need to leave a 50% deposit of the the total cost of the rental requested. 2. Full refund of Deposit if reservation is cancelled 10 days or more before the rental date. 3. No Refund if the reservation is cancelled less than 10 days before the rental date. 4. For the reservation we request a credit Card number,Expiration Date,and the CCV number (CCV number is the las 3 digits on the back of your card on the right hand side) We only accept Visa or Mastercard. 6. What is the Damage Waiver? Damage Waiver covers the renter for any damages that happens to the cart and only the cart. It does not cover bodily injury. Credit card does not cover the carts (they only cover autos). All golf carts are covered by the third party act. (compulsary by the law of Belize, that all vehicles have at least such. |
